Novus Innovation Corridor is a multi-phase, 350-acre development strategically positioned along Tempe Town Lake on the ASU campus, in the geographic heart of Greater Phoenix.
Upon completion, Novus will integrate more than 10 million square feet of urban office, retail and residential development with new and renovated collegiate athletic venues.
The development is a public/private partnership between Arizona State University (ASU) and master developer Catellus Development Corporation, and is expected to bring approximately 20,000 new jobs and 5,000 new residents to the downtown Tempe area.

The plan envisions Novus as an extension of this innovative educational environment—a place that will encourage the introduction of new ideas and methods to promote environmentally sensitive, carbon-neutral strategies along with integrating smart city technology.
The Novus Innovation Corridor will pursue Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Neighborhood Development (ND) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Additionally, all vertical development in Novus will pursue LEED certification.
State-of-the-art athletic training and exhibition facilities will attract even more athletes and events to Novus Innovation Corridor.
Sun Devil Stadium, Wells Fargo Arena, and other world-class ASU athletic facilities in the Novus Innovation Corridor will be a hub for the integration of students and athletes.
Novus is a lakefront development adjacent to Arizona State University’s Tempe Campus.
Novus Innovation Corridor adds to the unique urban recreational opportunities nearby including Tempe Town Lake, Tempe Butte Park and the 2,000-acre Papago Park. Located 1.5 miles from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and .25 miles from a full interchange of the Loop 202 and Loop 101 Freeways, the Athletic Facilities District has immediate proximity to the arterial street systems and the Valley’s 20-mile-long light rail system.
